The 16-Point Reflection Circle

A simple, effective and fun full-spectrum self-life-reflection

The 16-point reflection circle is a powerful exercise for self-reflection that I love doing at the turn of the year and would love to invite you into completing with me this year. This is a practice that I do with all of my long term clients as well as with myself, and I revisit my reflection circle every few months or so throughout the year.

In this video I share about why I love this exercise, which is simple, does not require any written words or numbers, unless you want it to, is feeling-based and judgmental.

I invite you to watch the video and then complete the exercise, which you can do by printing out the two pages attached and putting them together, or simply drawing your own that mimics it.

The 16-Point Self-Reflection Exercise
To complete the 16-point self-reflection circle, put a dot in the inside of the pie piece of each area of life that represents where you currently feel in relation to each topic, with the outer circle being total alignment and the inner dot being zero alignment. I like to then draw a line between each dot and the one in the section next to it, to create a shape with 16 points and 16 sides. For each area, you are welcome to write a couple of words related to the expansion you desire in that area, or not. Or, get another piece of paper or your journal for more in-depth notes if you feel called to. Date the top of your page in the color you are writing in.
